Running does solve so many of life’s issues, and the Oatmeal just nailed it in a single illustration. It’s pretty much perfect, and offered as a signed print with free postage over here.
The images were captured for various promotions of the brand, project, website, and feature runners who are part of the collective. The locations varied for the imagery from the Te Henga trail, Auckland City and Mount region.
Imagine your exercise data as art and no matter how big or small your achievements are, you can be proud of what you’ve accomplished. A new project Made with Sisu takes data from Strava or Runkeeper and creates art. What a great idea!
For this coming season i’ve shot a series of photos centred around commercial running for brands, editorial, events and people and put them together into a postcard collection.
Emily shoots from the heart in a documentary style for big clients and it works. Emily’s work is truly inspiring stuff for all of us out there who love to shoot candid imagery, yet feel there is not a place for it in the commercial sports scene.
As part of our creative process at Good People Run i’ve invested in a stunning printer for our fine art photographic prints, which are all done by hand from order to delivery. The results are really beautiful, and I love being involved with the whole journey from the photography shoot on location all the way to printing and delivery.
